Service terms

The short version of how engagements work. The written scope for each engagement is the controlling document.

Scope and fees

Every engagement begins with a written scope that states deliverables, timeline, review rounds, inclusions and exclusions, and the fee. Work starts after the scope is agreed. Changes to the agreed brief are discussed before additional work.

Budget estimates submitted through the website are not quotations. Fees are quoted exclusive of VAT where applicable.

Reviews and approvals

We name a decision-maker, agree review stages and specify the included revisions. Consolidated feedback protects the timeline. Factual content is confirmed by the client's own reviewer before release.

Ownership and credit

Final deliverables are owned by the client on full payment, subject to any third-party licences stated in the scope. I retain the right to describe the engagement in my portfolio in general terms unless the scope says otherwise; named case studies are published only with permission.

What I do not promise

Mentorship does not guarantee a job, client, income or funding. Training does not guarantee organisation-wide adoption. Communication work does not validate unsupported claims. Where the honest recommendation is to do nothing yet, I will say so in writing.

Documents for procurement

Proposals, quotations with a day-rate breakdown on request, invoices, receipts and tax-compliant business documentation are available for every engagement.
